Microsoft no longer supports Windows 7 and Windows 8.1

bye bye W7and8

Microsoft introduced Windows 7 more than ten years ago, and it has since become one of the most well-liked OS updates ever. In reality, a lot of people jumped right to Windows 10 rather than Windows 8 or 8.1. The road for Windows 7 and Windows 8.1 comes to an end today. Windows 8.1 will no longer be updated after January 10, 2023. Therefore those who remained behind should be alerted of this.

For Microsoft’s money-making machine, Windows 7 and Windows 8.1 are now officially dead. As per Microsoft’s Support website, “Every Windows product has a lifespan. When a product is released, its lifecycle begins, and it ends when it is no longer supported.

That basically implies that pre-installed versions of Windows 7 and Windows 8.1 will no longer be available with machines. Microsoft’s royalty OEMs, including Dell, HP, and Lenovo, will incorporate the upgrade; moving forward, they will only sell Windows PCs running the most latest versions of Windows 10 and Windows 11.
